Albon: Given to Treat and Prevent Coccidiosis. Given at 1cc per 10 pounds for 3-7 days depending on severity of infestation.
Pennicilin: Given to treat a wide variety of things such as cold, pneumonia, and some infections.
Sulmet: Can be given in conjuction with pennicilin to make a pretty good combination against pneumonia. A bottle is around $60. Which is expensive but a life saver.
Spectam: Kills E-Coli, which can kill babies. Symptoms of E-coli is (in kids yellowish pasty poop) and in adults green stoold whether or not it is solid or runny. Treatment for kids is 2-3 cc's depending on age. Give again in 12 hours. Adults: up to 15 cc's then again in 12 hours.
CD/T Tetanus Toxoid: Vaccination given to protect against overeating disease, and tetanus.
C&D ANTITOXIN: Given in a pinch if they have not had shot, or need immediate relief, comes in a 250 ML Bottle and around $30. This is a MUST For goat keeping. Follow directions on bottle, for emergencies DOUBLE the dosage. This can be given Orally. We give this whenever we have a goat that is severely bloated, or goes down. (usually one accompanies other).
Safeguard: A very safe wormer to use, used when they are kids and during gestation. the nice thing is, you cannot overdose on this. Which makes it very convenient.
Bo-Se: Given to prevent/treat White Muscle disease. Another must have for goats. It also boosts the sperm count in a buck, and increases amount of eggs produced in doe.
